We worked to make WeShareCare, a telehealth platform, more user friendly in order to better enable communication between patients and providers. We reconsidered which features are necessary and helpful, and refined those that are and removed those that are not. We addressed language translation issues, investigated what features of telehealth are most important to users, and applied UI design principles to better format the application, including resolving the extreme issues with the question feature, and the inability to view previous chat records or communicate with previous providers. We implemented Human Factors Research methods to investigate how to best redesign.

WeShareCare

Overview

We were tasked with creating a mobile application for users to learn new hobbies or skills from each other in fun ways. Our goal was to create an engaging, intuitive experience that will allow the user to focus on learning new hobbies rather than learning to use the interface. Whether users are new to their hobby or experienced and looking to further their knowledge or share their talents, this interface will allow them to engage with others, learn, and find new hobbies.

ZOOX

ZOOX is reinventing personal transportation and making the future safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable for everyone. The service ZOOX provides is on-demand autonomous ride-hailing. Although they have a well developed online presence and brand identity and website, we were tasked with creating an accompanying interface for the in-car experience. This design would be displayed in tablets in the back of the seats, for users to control the car and personalize their riding experience with ZOOX.

Kalea

KALEA is an at home kitchen composting system, currently in kickstarter campaign phase, for which we developed an initial user interface for a companion app. This mobile application enables users monitor the waste chamber volume, set it to automatically empty when full, empty the waste chamber manually, monitor the shredding and composting chambers progress and volume, monitor the volume of the removable compost collection tray, receive a variety of alerts, understand their positive environmental impact, understand what can and can’t be processed using KALEA, and post on and browse a community blog with stories and helpful tips from the KALEA team as well as other users.
